62 Deuteronomy 32:39-41 Song of Moses Part 5
JMD Devotional 62 Deuteronomy 32:39-41 Song of
Moses Part 5
See now that I, I am He, and there is no god beside
Me; I kill and I make alive, I wound and I heal, and
there is none who can deliver out of My hand. For I
lift up My hand to heaven and swear, As I live
forever, If I whet My lightning sword and My hand
takes hold on judgment, I will wreak vengeance on My
foes and recompense those who hate Me.
I do not know what Bible the pacifist read, but my God
is a God of war.
Dear God,
Is it not right to hate those who hate You? (Psalm
139:21) The world is being polarized into two camps;
may your people not be mingled and their loyalty
confused. Draw the line clearly between light and
darkness, good and evil; so we may serve You with
distinction.
Amen
