60 Deuteronomy 32:5,6 Song of Moses Part 3
JMD Devotional 60 Deuteronomy 32:5,6 Song of Moses Part 3
They [Israel] have spoiled themselves. They are not sons to Him, and that is their blemish--a perverse and crooked generation! Do you thus repay the Lord, you foolish and senseless people? Is not He your Father Who acquired you for His own, Who made and established you [as a nation]?
How has our rebellion affected God?
Vs 16 We provoked God to jealousy…
Vs 19,15 Since we forsook and despised God, He will spurn and reject us…
Vs 20 He will hide His face from us (postponing our judgment day, ‘dooms day’)…
Dear God,
How great You are to delay the wrath and judgment your people have earned, so that a remnant may be saved! May we cherish your mercy and forgiveness. Thank you for taking the lead in mending our relationship. How blessed we are!
Amen
