JMD Devotional 71 Isaiah 57:16 Bigger Purpose

For I will not contend forever, neither will I be angry always, for [if I did stay angry] the spirit [of man] would faint and be consumed before Me, and [My purpose in] creating the souls of men would be frustrated.

God permits an evil world to continue so that His redemption may play out and be displayed in high contrast.

Dear God,
By You and for You and for your pleasure were all things created and continue to exist. May my life please You more, may your desire be satisfied as my life displays your holy influence.
